What is GROMS MTB?
The Soft Cogs are gettin’ old and it’s time to get the next gen involved and bump us out of our chairs. Grommets is the urban definition for kids, thus the Grom MTB academy is for our youths.
Through Groms MTB, we will provide:
- A social environment for youths to ride and create friendships
- Through qualified coaches, teach youths new skills and promote development
- Encourage and foster healthy past times through bike riding
How will GROMS MTB achieve this?
The powerful Soft Cogs Inc community will co-ordinate and fund the activities to support the Groms MTB.
- Secure venues to ride
- Arrange coaches to cater for all skill levels
- Social ride days with BBQs and refreshments (for both the kids and adults)
- Held over school holidays, with relevant Working With Children Checks

How Do I Join?
Everyone is welcome, you do not have to be a member to participate. However, being Soft Cogs member has benefits including insurance, discounts and even free stuff! Joining Soft Cogs is easy. Just follow this link for membership. Sign up for our newsletter and watch this space!
WHAT DOES IT COST?
Soft Cogs Incorporation membership is only $30 per year, cheaper if you sign up for longer.
