Where everyone is welcome, of all abilities, of all disciplines. Even if you ride a Colnago!
Tragically, Tony Campbell was lost in an accident earlier this month, and Bernice suffered life altering injuries. Tony was one of the founding members of Soft Cogs Inc back in 2005. Bernice has been active in riding or organising since 2007.
We are without words to describe how we feel, or what to make of this. What we do know, however, is we need to rally as a community to provide support to Bernice and her three children as they commence their journey in accepting the situation and restoring some sort of normality to their lives.
Support is what we do best.
Our ride will have a $20 fee, and if you wish, you can contribute more. There is a GoFundMe page setup to accept donations. All donations will be passed on directly to the two families. Your donations will allow Bernice & Tony’s families be with Bernice during her intensive medical treatment in hospital, and then towards longer term medical care.
Let’s be the bright light for these families in their darkest time. If you’ve got 2 wheels, then please join us in a show of solidarity, community and support for this family who have contributed so much to the their community.
